🚨 INTRODUCING ELLIE LEWINGTON 🚨 My name is Ellie Lewington, I am a 2009 forward from Peterborough Ontario. I’ve been with CYP for 3 years, and this is my second year with the Jr team. I think the greatest strengths I bring to my team are my work ethic and positivity. I give every practice, gym workout, and shift 100%. I have a loud and wild personality and I’m always trying to make my teammates laugh or smile, especially when they’re having a rough time. Unfortunately this spring I tore my ACL so you won’t see me on the ice most of the season, but you will see me in the stands at every game and practice cheering my team on! This injury has shown me just how lucky I am to be surrounded by positive and supportive teammates and coaches! I am so proud to be a Central York Panther and this team is truly like a second family to me. I am looking forward to join UPEI’s women’s hockey program next year (I’ll be trading one panthers jersey for another). I will be studying Psychology and my goal is to one day become a police officer. Although this is not how I envisioned my senior season, I know working hard everyday, staying positive and surrounding myself with this amazing team, I’ll overcome this obstacle. The comeback is always greater than the setback!!! #womenshockey #juniors #cygha #alwaysapanther #swscd
🚨 INTRODUCING BRYNN BELLEAU 🚨 My name is Brynn Belleau and I am a 2011 defence from Cottam, ON. I started playing boys hockey at the age of 6 and played for the Sun County Panthers AAA program up to U14. I switched to girls hockey last year and this will be my first year as a Junior Panther. I am a smart, hardworking and competitive player and I’m really looking forward to competing at a high level, continuing to develop and being a great teammate in the upcoming season! I attend Crestwood Preparatory College where I also play flag football, hockey and soccer. Outside of hockey, I focus on my academics, spending time with family and friends and playing with my dog Zoey. I am incredibly passionate about hockey and have a goal to continue playing at the University level. #hockey #junior #womenshockey #alwaysapanther #swscd
