Excited to present a few pics of our #SWSCD coverage of two @durhamshredders teams - the Norco Mini Shredders & the Not So Mini Norco Shredders - as they participated in the 2020 @pulseracingmtb Epic 8 Hour Solo/Team Relay Challenge hosted by @hardwoodskibike . Both teams successfully and collectively completed 100 km - 10 laps of a 10km course - in 8 hours. A great example of what’s possible when you choose to team up with family and friends whether or not you’re young or old. Extra congrats to organizers who, in response to COVID-19, re-imagined this annual one-day solo/team event and turned it into a multi day self-managed event that started on Sept 14th and will end on Sept 29th. Great job to everyone involved. #seewhatshecando #epic8hour #durhamshredders #funwithfamilyandfriends
The county has finished logging for this year (they will be back next fall), but there is a considerable amount of debris left behind from the operation. The scope of the debris is too large for our team to handle by themselves.
We are asking for any “friends of hardwood” who can lend a hand, to please come out and go for a hike on the effected trails (Olympic side) and move off debris/sticks.
If you can help, please check in at the main chalet and we will give some direction.
Thanks in advance!
