Sandra Greaves, 5th Dan.
Sandra is a two time Olympian and was the first ever Canadian female judoka to qualify for an Olympic Games, when she was selected for Seoul 1988 Olympics as a demonstration sport.
She then followed this amazing achievement by competing at her second Olympic Games four years later in Barcelona 1992.
For numerous years Sandra was a mainstay on the National Team and was a three-time world team member from 1986-1989.
Her competitive resume is also impressive, medalling at multiple international tournaments, including the Pan Am Championships and Francophone Games.
She was a six-time national champion and became Pan Am Games Champion in 1987.
She was also inducted into the Judo Canada Hall of Fame in 1996 for outstanding national & international achievements and was a trailblazer for female Canadian judoka, helping to inspire future generations to chase their dream.
