🚨 INTRODUCING AUDREY MARTONE 🚨 I am born and raised in Peterborough, Ontario. I started skating when I was 2 years old on our pond, with my friends and family. I played Timbits hockey for the next few years until I was six years old and started playing with the Petes and later on with the Peterborough Ice Kats. I played with the Peterborough Ice Kats up until my U18 year, which is when I made the switch to Durham West Lighting U18AA. And now, I’m very excited to start my Junior year with the Central York Panthers. In the winter time you can find me at the rinks playing hockey, and in the summer time on the field playing lacrosse. Regardless of the sport that I am playing, my favourite part is being apart of a team and competing with them in practices and games, with winning championships always in mind. A goal that I have always had is being able to continue my education while playing the sport that I love. I am grateful for the opportunity to be apart of Colgate Hockey in the future. #womenshockey #colgateuniversity #cygha #alwaysapanther #swscd

🚨 INTRODUCING ELLIE LEWINGTON 🚨 My name is Ellie Lewington, I am a 2009 forward from Peterborough Ontario. I’ve been with CYP for 3 years, and this is my second year with the Jr team. I think the greatest strengths I bring to my team are my work ethic and positivity. I give every practice, gym workout, and shift 100%. I have a loud and wild personality and I’m always trying to make my teammates laugh or smile, especially when they’re having a rough time. Unfortunately this spring I tore my ACL so you won’t see me on the ice most of the season, but you will see me in the stands at every game and practice cheering my team on! This injury has shown me just how lucky I am to be surrounded by positive and supportive teammates and coaches! I am so proud to be a Central York Panther and this team is truly like a second family to me. I am looking forward to join UPEI’s women’s hockey program next year (I’ll be trading one panthers jersey for another). I will be studying Psychology and my goal is to one day become a police officer. Although this is not how I envisioned my senior season, I know working hard everyday, staying positive and surrounding myself with this amazing team, I’ll overcome this obstacle.
