In preparation for #BellLetsTalk day coming up, we asked 3rd Year athlete Taya Evans how she’s been staying happy and healthy in lockdown. “Being in lockdown has definitely been a difficult time and a huge adjustment to the lifestyle that I am used to but it’s also one of the only times you’ll get to have this much time to spend with yourself. During lockdown my main priority has been my mental health and making sure that I am happy. Recently I have been practicing meditation and trying to get some form of exercise daily to keep my mind and body healthy, as well as improving my focus for online classes. Find consistency in a routine that works for you and do something you enjoy each day!” - Taya Evans #11 #Letstalk #stressrelief #exercise #health #ringette #uwo #mustangs #western #runwithus #wellness #womeninsport #seewhatshecando

A Sunday Well Spent Brings A Week Of Context Sundays are a perfect day to reflect day...to evaluate the week you just experienced and plan the upcoming one. It's a perfect day to recharge; determine what worked and make adjustments accordingly. These adjustments can include, behavioural, mindset, nutrition, fitness and many more.... I, personally, try to take stock every Sunday and make changes the following week...not always perfect, especially while I was on holiday as far as nutrition...too many snacks and some wine each night that I don't normally do. But since, coming home, I have honed in on those bad habits (for me) and I feel so much better. How are you spending your Sundays? Are you taking stock of your previous week and making adjustments? Do you have any habits you've been doing on Sundays? Please share below 👇 #sunday #sundayfunday #habits #reflection #adjustments #recharge #seewhatshecando #mindset #believeinyou #positivechatter #personalgrowth #positivestateofmind #fabulous50s #fabulous60s #fabulousover40
