Grounding What is it? Grounding or earthing as it is sometimes called, refers to contact with the Earth's surface electrons by walking barefoot outside. It transfers the energy from the ground into the body. We are bombarded with EMFs (electrical magnetic fields) everywhere, so grounding helps dispell them. We can learn a thing or two from our 4 legged friends, as they ground all the time. As humans, we aren't very good at getting outside barefoot, and walking on grass, concrete, sand or other natural surfaces. Benefits to health: Grounding neutralizes free radicals. Free radicals are generated through inflammation, infection, cell damage, trauma, stress and toxic environments. Grounding improves sleep, pain management, stress, regulates coritsol. Grounding also improves inflammation and immunity. It also shifts the body from fight to flight mode and essentially move it to the restorative and digest mode. How long should you ground? Preferably 24/7, however that's not realistic today. At least a minimum of 30 minutes a day. And finally, if you live in a concrete jungle, you can buy grounding mats to mimic what you would get from walking or standing barefoot outside. So, get out outside and do some grounding 😁 Happy grounding! #grounding #earthing #walkingbarefoot #outside #standingbarefoot #health #healthbenefits #walkingbarefoot #noshoes #seewhatshecando
