On Monday we had a bittersweet Judo gathering as we said farewell to our long time instructor and friend Sensei Rich as he taught his last class to celebrate his Judo retirement. . At the same time we celebrate our new Blackbelt Shodan Kylee Henson! She is the first female to have received a Blackbelt in our club in almost 20 years. This is an amazing accomplishment and her first instructor Sensei Rich had the honour of presenting her with her belt. . Thank you for all who showed up - students old and new - as we enjoyed some cake, rolls / randori, and laughs. .
