In place of our regular Sunday ball program this week, we have an exciting new event coming up! As part of the #ReachingHigher campaign, Sarah Saleem (@sawrahs ) is climbing Mount Kilimanjaro and raising funds to provide Syrian refugee children in Turkish camps with quality education. 🏔👦🏻🧒🏼💻📚 Here is how you can help: Join us this Sunday Feb 2 from 1-4 pm at the Sayeda Khadija Centre to participate in a Women’s basketball clinic and tournament with Hijabi Ballers Coaches Hinnah and Fifi. 🏀Coach Hinnah is a former D1 College basketball player, and Fifi is a Hijabi Ballers Basketball Ambassador and the star of the @raptors Nike Hijab Campaign. ⛹🏽♀️ . Both ladies are exceptional basketball players and coaches and we can’t wait to have them lead this session for you all! Learn the ins and outs of basketball and take part in a hype tournament with your fellow Hijabi Ballers basketball enthusiasts. No experience necessary! This clinic is a charity event as part of the Reaching Higher campaign and has a suggested donation of $20-30, all of which will go towards Sarah’s mission (Learn more about it in our previous post!) Link in bio for tickets and more info about the campaign. . P.S- Please note that regular Sunday ball at Salaheddin is cancelled this week.
