Week 28: Abby D. (abbydixon7) was a varsity basketball player for queensgaelswbb! She is now a licensed chiropractor and getting more involved with coaching. An important topic for is advocating for athletes to participate in multiple sports to help with injury prevention and build new skills! Week 24: Courtney A. (court_anglin) is track and field athlete for brockbadgers and a basketball player! She is passionate about the representation of all body types in sport. She believes that people of all shapes and sizes should be able to play the sports they love without the fear of being looked down upon or ridiculed simply because of their size. Week 17: Sara B. (single__handed) is former member of the Canadian national women's wheelchair basketball team! She has traveled around the world and has visited many places. She is passionate about inclusivity and accessibility in all aspects of life, but especially in sport with children. She is currently a mentor for the Girls Enabled and Ready to Play (GEAR) Program to help women and girls learn and stay in wheelchair basketball.
