A Rookie Driver Behind the Wheel - Once Again
For Ontario based Canadian race car driver and multiple Late Model and Hot Rod champion Amanda Balson, taking risks and trying new things is what she's all about. Never willing to shy away from a new challenge, and always with the love for speed at the core of her driving, Amanda hit the track at Sunset Speedway in Innisfil this past Victoria Day long weekend as a rookie driver once again in her debut in the Modified Race Series.

Amanda did not disappoint. Together with the help of her pit crew and lots of hard work, she succeeded in pulling off a third place finish. Not bad for a rookie.
Never happy just to compete, Amanda shared through her Instagram account that her and her team
"struggled with handling issues and definitely need to figure out some issues, however the changes made from the heat to the feature were promising, still far from where we need to be though. We'll get there."
As always, Amanda and her team are driven and determined to succeed and to deliver their best to their supporters and fans in the stands.
Amanda will be back in her new Modified driver seat next Saturday May 24th at Sunset Speedway where she will no doubt show her competitors and fans alike how fast a learner she can be when driven to be the fastest and her best.
