Canadian surfer Erin Brooks has claimed another major victory on the World Surf League (WSL) Championship Tour, winning the 2026 Fiji Pro just weeks after taking the top spot in Tahiti Pro.
The victory gives the 19-year-old Canadian back-to-back Championship Tour wins and moves her to No. 8 in the WSL World Rankings, marking another significant milestone in her rise among the world’s leading professional surfers.
Brooks delivered an exceptional performance throughout the Fiji Pro, beginning her campaign with a statement in Round 1. Facing Australia’s Sophie McCulloch, Brooks earned a perfect 10-point ride at Cloudbreak and backed it up with an 8.00 to finish with an 18.00 heat total.
The perfect ride placed Brooks in rare company as one of only three women to earn a perfect 10 in Fiji, alongside Laura Enever and five-time World Champion Carissa Moore.
Her path through the event continued against some of the most accomplished surfers in the sport.
In Round 2, Brooks defeated Caroline Marks, the reigning Olympic gold medallist and former WSL World Champion, with a 10.83 heat total to Marks’ 6.00.
Brooks then advanced through the Quarterfinals before facing Carissa Moore in the Semifinal. Moore, a five-time WSL World Champion and Olympic gold medallist, was defeated by Brooks as the Canadian secured her place in the Fiji Pro Final.
The victory marks Brooks’ second Fiji Pro title. She first won at Cloudbreak in 2024 while competing as a 17-year-old wildcard, announcing herself as one of the sport’s emerging international talents.
Her latest result comes just weeks after winning the 2026 Tahiti Pro at Teahupo’o, giving Brooks consecutive victories at two of the most celebrated and demanding waves on the Championship Tour.
