The host centre for the Senior Citizens Singles & Doubles 5 Pin 18 Provincial Championships is Neb's Fun World in Oshawa. Neb's Fun World is the largest 5 pin 18 centre in Canada boasting 52 five pin lanes. The Senior Citizens event consists of 2 steps - Zone and Provincial rounds and is broken down between Senior and Junior- Senior Divisions. The first step the Zone round enables bowlers to qualify in their own leagues in the 18 centres where they play. Two bowlers advance to the Provincial Championships and can be either one man and one lady or two men or two ladies. The Provincial Championships consist of three games and will be based on a pins-over-average format. Provincial Champions will be declared in Men's and Ladies' singles for each age division. The scores of the two bowlers from each zone and in each division are combined in order to determine the Doubles Provincial Champions. Drop into Neb's Fun World on May13 to catch these golden-agers as they have fun up on the lanes but also demonstrate that they still have that competitive edge as they strive to become Provincial Champions.
