SWSCD Highlights - 2018 Skate Canada - Skate Ontario Sectionals

Top figures skaters throughout Ontario showcased their strength, grace, focus and determination at the 2018 Skate Canada - Skate Ontario Sectionals from November 2 - November 5, 2017 at the Sixteen Mile Sports Complex located in the Town of Oakville. 

What are Sectionals?

Skate Canada puts on competitions or sectionals that are hosted by provincial skating organizations and local clubs. These events provide an opportunity to see the up and coming talent in the world of figure skating. Sectionals give skaters exposure to an elite level of competition with Canadian Championship rules and experience and include competitive programs for Women’s and Men’s Singles as well as Pair and Dance events. Top performing athletes advance to the next round of qualifying events which ultimately lead to the Canadian Tire National Skating Championships.
