Provincials came to an end for us on Saturday — not the day we were hoping for, but a 3rd-place finish nonetheless. As always, we had an absolute blast playing together. Huge thank you to the organizers, volunteers, ice makers, and everyone in Elmira who ran an incredible event. In case you didn’t hear, it’s #ThankAnIceTechWeek January 11-17th. We are very fortunate to have a pretty awesome ice tech at our home club northbaygraniteclub in North Bay. Thank you Bruno for all that you do throughout the season AND for maintaining and creating very consistent, high quality ice all week long for the Northern Ontario Men’s and Women’s Provincials. Bruno takes so much pride in what he does and making the ice surface the very best it can be all the time. Even during the summerspiel when we maybe don’t deserve A+ ice conditions, he delivers them. Not only is he great at making ice, but he’s a great resource to others about making it. We as a team, club and province are so fortunate Bruno chose to become an ice tech and dedicates so much time to being one of the best at it. #TeamDeschene #Curling #SWSCD #SeeWhatSheCanDo

2026 ONTARIO PROVINCIAL CHAMPS!!!🏆🏆🏆 We are so thrilled to officially announce that we have won the Ontario farmfoodcareon Women’s Provincials and earned the honour of representing Ontario at the Scottie’s Tournament of Hearts! ❤️🖤 We have put in countless hours of practicing, training, and competing to make our dreams come true this season🥹. There are numerous people who we could not have accomplished this without. A big THANK YOU to our coaches Steve Robert, Doug Johnston, Lori Eddy, and Earle Morris for all of their hard work. Thank you to all of our family and friends who came to support us this week and all season long. Another HUGE thank you to all of our sponsors this season - we would not be able to compete at this level without all of your support. Last but not least, thank you to Curling Ontario, Elmira CC, the ice crew, and all of the volunteers for putting on such an incredible week! These types of events would not be able to run without all of your hard work, so THANK YOU on behalf of all of the athletes.👏🏼👏🏼 It’s time to switch out the black and orange for the black and red!!⚫️🔴 Stay tuned for more updates about our schedule at the Scottie’s Tournament of Hearts! 📸 curlingontario #seewhatshecando
