These are unprecedented times. Social distancing, while necessary is taking a toll on many. Businesses are in jeopardy of closing doors. People are feeling isolated, anxious and craving connection more than ever. The shutdown of recreational and pro sports leagues is leaving many of us searching for ways to stay engaged with the sports and teammates we love.
In the wake of COVID-19 we’ve been talking to many women and businesses to understand how they’re feeling and how we can support them. At the heart of it all is a need for human connection. This is an ideal time to deepen our relationships and an opportunity to find new ways of interacting with one another to strengthen and encourage each other. Join our virtual community and help us help each other.
SeeWhatSheCanDo.com is a place where you can share stories, hone skills, find resources, and talk to people and businesses who share your passion for adventure and physical activity. If you’re home alone or with your family and you're unsure of how to fill the time we want to offer you some ideas:
There are so many great stories of community, connection and selfless generosity across the globe and in our very own backyard. Share the great things that are happening in your community when you join SeeWhatSheCanDo or by using hashtag #seewhatshecando on your Twitter, Facebook or Instagram posts.
Thread: 1. It's a scary time, but older people may feel particularly isolated and alone. If your parents/grandparents are #BlueJays fans and you think their spirits would be raised by a phone call, send me a direct message with their name, number, and best time to call.

This is my son Mack, who is autistic. Hes turns 22 on Friday and was supposed to go out for a family dinner. He doesn’t understand all the reasons why we now can’t, and it’s been a challenging few days. He LOVES birthdays, especially his! 💙Feel free to send him bday wishes! pic.twitter.com/v1Tv8Kf0v3
